Grandeur and Glory

Every now and again I feel the impulse to return to my ceremonial background from my time in the RAF. Grandeur and Glory is one of those pieces that suits those occasions when pomp and circumstance is required. It starts and ends with a slow-building fanfare in the style of Handel’s Zadok the Priest. These sections flank a jaunty tune which is flavoured by a few lateral harmonic twists.
